About Me

I am a couples and family psychotherapist in private practice, member of the Teaching Faculty at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and Clinical Associate of the Gender & Family Project in New York City. I have presented nationally on providing affirmative clinical services for families of gender nonconforming and transgender children and adolescents. My training includes post graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, the Institute for Dialogic Practice and receiving my Masters in Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. I have a long history working in community mental health in the New York City area from a pro-treatment choice, recovery and anti-oppression perspective.

In addition to training in family & couples therapy, I have a broad range of expertise supporting relief from depression, mood instability, grief, loss, trauma and providing affirmative services for people LGBTQ-identified, blended families and alternative couple or family structures.
